Between the Tiger King phenomenon and all five binge worthy seasons of How to Get Away with Murder, partaking in social distancing activities that don’t involve a glass of wine and the television has been a struggle, to say the least. Prior to quarantine, one of my biggest complaints was not having enough time in a day. Now that I have the free time, I am challenging myself to learn new things, explore areas outside of my comfort zone, and get my booty off of the couch.

1. Game night
Break out your favorite childhood games and host a game night with your family. Dominos anyone?
2. Learn How to Give Your Hair the Dry Bar Treatment
I have tried and failed so many times, but I finally have the extra time to practice giving my hair a blowout. Watch a YouTube tutorial and grab a round brush and hairdryer. Perfect your flawless hair! I am determined to master it this time.

Check out video tutorials or at-home programs. I love the Kayla Itsine’s Bikini Body Guide. The best, yet worst, 30 minutes of my day. Purchase resistance bands to increase the intensity of any at home workout. (Favorites are linked here)

I absolutely love receiving packages! Send joy to someone by collecting “stay at home” items and send a quarantine box. The box could include chocolates, fuzzy socks, new nail polish colors, cleaning supplies, or an encouraging note!

Show your loved one how much you care and how much fun you can have at home. Plan a romantic evening in.

Use this time to downsize your closet. Sort through the items that you are staples to your wardrobe or that you absolutely love. Marie Kondo has really inspired me (yes, I was bad and watched the Netflix show rather than reading the book).

Make a fabulous cheese board for yourself. Although it’s just a party of one, you will be thankful that you possess this skill once you and your girlfriends can get back together!
I am obsessed with the look of the marble and wooden cheese boards. Even if you are no pro at the creation of the board, it will still look fabulous if you have a beautiful board to display it on! (I have linked a few of my favorites from Amazon)

You would think tossing some fruits and veggies into a blender would be foolproof. Not so much. To this day, I have yet to perfect the perfect smoothie. Use your extra time in the mornings to experiment with different recipes in order to create the perfect blend!

Transform your photos into a photo album on a site such as Shutterfly. I create one photo album per year that summarizes key events. Create the album while you have extra free time and then wait to order it once Shutterfly announces one of their big sales. I created a $400 wedding album and paid only $88!

45. Detail Car
Complete a spring cleaning on your car, inside and out. I swear by my Dyson handheld. The size and suction leaves my floor mats and seats looking brand new! (Linked here)

Go through closets and drawers and sell your unwanted items online. This is an easy way to declutter and make some extra income.
