Every year I struggle. My mother is the most amazing lady and deserves the world, but she literally owns everything you could possibly imagine! In light of this, I have had to get creative and find unique ways to show her love on Mother's Day. Here are a few ideas on how to celebrate your mom this year in order to make her feel special. I have also linked some of my favorite, affordable Target finds that would make for the perfect gift!
Host a Brunch
Gather your family and create an at home brunch experience. Serve homemade mochas, create a mimosa bar, and cook some of your mother's favorite brunch dishes! This year, I made homemade strawberry jam that will pair perfectly with biscuits and be served as the perfect brunch treat.
Go for a Bike Ride
Get active and explore local trails! Or my personal favorite, bike to your local ice cream shop and treat your mom to dessert.
Breakfast in Bed
Give your mom a relaxing morning by serving her breakfast in bed. Curl up together and watch one of her favorite movies!
Clean the House
This may be the ultimate service of love. My mom LOVES a clean home and would greatly appreciate someone else cleaning for the day over any gift I could get her!
Bake her Favorite Treat
Give Her the Gift of Relaxation
Treat your mom to a day of relaxation and pampering, she deserves it. All the ladies out there are especially ready to be pampered after everything being closed for so long! Purchase a gift card to her favorite salon or spa, or save money and really show her how much you care by pampering her yourself!
Wine Tasting
Create an at home wine experience for your mom and family. Purchase some of your favorite wines and cheeses to serve. Spend time together on the porch sampling with your mom and family.
Take a Day Trip
Head to a nearby location that has special meaning to you and your mom, or take her some place new that you enjoy. Spending time together will mean so much to your mom!
